  • Similar entrance as in 1 John
  • Mention of the Trinity
  • Cavlinistic view
  • Peter’s introduction considered very “awesome”
  • Faith leads to salvation and ready to receive when Christ returns
  • Glorification
  • Saving faith is permanent and never dies
  • Makes the joy more worth it compared to our minoring suffering on Earth
  • verse 3:3-6, Wives develop inner beauty rather than being distracted by too much outward appearance. However, they must dress like a christian lady and not dowdy or frumpy.
  • verse 3:7, As a husband, treat your wife with respect and love or else God won’t listen to your prayers.
